I enjoy learning, meeting new people, and exploring different aspects of the Christian faith. I also have a passion for discovering art, understanding various cultures, and actively participating in my community. Throughout my life, I've earned several titles such as educator, mentor, motivational speaker, sorority sister (a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.), minister, and Doctor of Philosophy in higher education administration.

My nieces and nephews often playfully tease me about these titles. One day, encouraged by her parents, my great-niece started calling me Dr. Auntie, and the nickname stuck. It always brought me joy when my then 3-year-old niece affectionately called me Dr. Auntie. Whether we were at home or out in public, whenever she saw me, she excitedly shouted my new name. Strangers hearing her call out for me would laugh and jokingly call me this too.

When I considered starting my popcorn business, I envisioned it as a place where everyone could laugh, have fun, and feel included. A place where they would leave with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts. That's why I decided on the name Dr. Auntie for the business. This name brought out laughter and joy for me, and I wanted others to experience the same.
