As an Assistant Manager, you will be an integral part of our management team, You will help ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the store, knowing and performing all store positions. The assistant will help with staffing and training, scheduling, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, managing online orders, overseeing inventory replenishment, creating promotions and promotions calendar, facilitating opening and closing procedures, working with contractors, and fostering a positive work environment that embodies fun and excellence. Will serve in the absence of store manager 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staffing and Training: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members. Provide training and guidance to ensure all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities effectively.
2. Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while optimizing labor costs.
3. Safety and Cleanliness: Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the store, adhering to health and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or cleanliness issues promptly.
4. Order Management: Oversee fundraising orders, shipping processes, and inventory replenishment orders to maintain adequate stock levels and fulfill customer demands efficiently.
5. Opening/Closing Procedures: Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently according to established protocols.
6. Contractor Engagement: Coordinate with store contractors for maintenance and repairs as needed, ensuring that the store infrastructure is well-maintained and operational.
7. Creating a Positive Work Environment: Foster a work culture that promotes positivity, teamwork, and excellence. Encourage employee engagement and morale through recognition programs, team-building activities, and open communication.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or hospitality management role preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with Square POS system, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Meticulous in managing cash flow and daily sales receipts.
• Eye for detail and excellence in advertising and packaging
• Enthusiasm for creating a fun, healthy, and excellent work environment.

Customer Service/Cashiers are responsible for:

• Preparing and serving orders (in-person, phone, or internet), in a timely manner.
• Tasting all the yummy popcorn and advise customers on flavors to try.
• Encourage customers to offer food and drink recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of store
• Rotate and Replenish stock as needed
• Package and serve food items with excellence.
• Recommending new popcorn, drink, and cookie flavors. 
• Encouraging customers to join the Popcorn Pal Program.

As a Popcorn Cook, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent quality and availability of our gourmet popcorn offerings. You will be responsible for meticulously preparing and popping popcorn according to our recipes, maintaining high standards of taste and quality, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a delightful popcorn experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and Pop Popcorn: Execute the preparation and popping of popcorn daily, ensuring an ample supply of all varieties required for our diverse range of recipes.
2. Recipe Adherence: Demonstrate a commitment to excellence by mastering and strictly adhering to our gourmet popcorn recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation.
3. Quality Assurance: Take ownership of quality control by regularly tasting popcorn batches to uphold our standards of excellence. Reject any popcorn that does not meet our quality benchmarks, ensuring only the finest products are offered to our customers.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of popcorn on the sales floor. Paying particular attention to ensure adequate availability for customers online or in person.
5. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation guidelines and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to efficiently meet production goals and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant with food preparation or culinary arts preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs of products (with help if needed).
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Sealing Popcorn Bags (machine) 
• Verify order fulfillment.

Pay is state minimum hourly wage. Crew members will be emailed when a large order is received.
