Our Story
Cynthia, who grew up in Trenton, NJ, spent 25 years teaching students how to navigate a world that's always changing and full of diverse people. But she never stopped dreaming of starting her own business.
Aside from her faith, Cynthia has a deep passion for connecting with people from different backgrounds. She particularly enjoys experimenting with popcorn, trying different methods like movie theater popcorn and microwave popcorn before wanting something more. Unsatisfied with the limited flavors available in stores, she was inspired to start her own business. Through Dr. Auntie's, Cynthia aims to offer freshly made popcorn, cookies, and drinks with innovative and exciting flavors from around the world. She hopes everyone will stop by for a snack, a chat, and the chance to try something new and delicious!
“At Dr. Auntie's Gourmet Popcorn Shop, I am dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. I want popcorn lovers to be adventurous and try flavors they've never experienced before. My primary goal is to spread happiness and kindness through our delicious popcorn flavors and snack offerings".
To further engage with our customers, we created the Popcorn Pal Program. Pals can recommend new flavors and items for sale, participate in contests and polls, receive special discounts, and stay informed about upcoming promotions.
