A native of Trenton, New Jersey, she spent over 30 years as a Student Development Officer on college campuses, where she taught students how to thrive in a world that’s always changing—and wonderfully diverse. Her passion for education is reflected not only in her professional background but also in her academic journey. Cynthia holds degrees from Washington and Jefferson College, Syracuse University, and Bowling Green State University. Today, she brings that same dedication to learning and growth into the community she serves through Dr. Auntie’s. Her love for travel and connection with others inspired her to explore flavors from around the world. What started as a personal love for popcorn turned into a bigger dream when she realized most store-bought popcorn lacked creativity and freshness. So, she decided to build something different.
