I’m thrilled to announce that the contract has been signed, allowing the General Contractor and their team to commence the renovation work on our store. Starting Monday, April 1st, they’ll begin by removing the wall paneling and prepping the space for the renovation process.
Adding to the excitement, our store sign was successfully installed on Friday, March 29th, and the popcorn equipment arrived a full two weeks ahead of schedule. This early arrival of equipment ensures that there won’t be any unexpected delays in the renovation process.
Before we kick off the official countdown to our opening, there are a few final tweaks needed on the architectural plans. Once those are sorted, we’ll submit our construction permit application to the Township of Ewing. We’re confident in the timeline provided by our contractor, Pedro Juarez Chan from PJ Maintenance Construction, indicating a May opening. However, the exact date will depend on information from the inspectors. Our aim is to open by mid-May, giving us ample time to settle in before hosting a Grand Opening event in June.
